Natural Play Spaces

We believe looking after the environment begins at school. Not only do we build using sustainable woods, reusing fallen trees and making obstacle courses from spent tractor tyres, we also encourage teachers to take part in the experience, ensuring our spaces are used with intent and enthusiasm from the start.

We serve many Norfolk schools with our 3-part philosophy of Play, Learn & Create where we categorise space for particular needs. It has intrinsic benefits to children and teachers as well as improving upon metrics used by Offsted.

Types of Play Space

PLAY

The most natural characteristic of outdoor space for children is to play. Having an imagination for creating space and equipment in a child-like but sustainable way is at our core.

Learn

Children need to learn about their environment in an interactive and responsible way. We also encourage teachers to take an active role to understand the essentials.

Create

Sometimes we need a spark to catalyse creation. Given the benefits of music on wellbeing, we build junk-yard themed instruments to inspire children to use their imagination.
